Claudio y Maribel

Since 1983 Arara Enterprises has represented traditional artisans from Mexico and Central America. In some regions we have worked with three generations of the same families.

We take pride in explaining and keeping artisan traditions alive in a changing world. We take pride in loving dedicating ourselves to working with families that make these treasures.

For many years we have been instrumental in the increased popularity of the traditions of Day of the Dead in the US. We believe that the products used in this celebration should be made in Mexico as they are culture specific. We reject the common practice of making copies in other countries; even among fait trade companies.

We deal with good quality hand made products and religious Folk Art in these countries. Representing products from La Palma and Ilobasco (El Salvador), and a variety of Mexican Crosses, Santos, Nativities and Ornaments.

We also carry many colorful ornaments in wood, ceramic, straw and glass. Coco masks as well as traditional wood masks. If you are looking for something colorful, authentic and sellable you will find it in our lists.
